Spring Rush events!!: The actives have been living in the house for over a month now and are quickly learning the ropes. Not surprisingly, having a newly renovated house to showcase to potential new members is proving to be a super effective rush tool. First Saturday Dinner of 2026!!: An Upsilon Chapter tradition was resurrected on January 17th. Collared shirts were worn, waiters were on the move, the kitchen door was slammed, and the head table dinged the glass. The UAA Giving Hub is LIVE: We're happy to unveil the UAA Giving Hub. The Giving hub is your central location to donate and keep up to date on the status of all fundraising drives the UAA is running. Please stop by and don't forget to donate! Lastly, be sure to block off the weekend of October 9th on your calendar for AWE 2026!! yf UAA Upsilon Actives: Spring Rush!!! We've been holding regular rush events at the house since the start of this spring semester, averaging 10+ rushees per event.  We're aiming to put out 14 bids this semester. We've also been continuing to expand our outreach on campus whether it be giving out free hot cocoa at the Union, or participating in the IFC "Meet the Chapters" event. As we enter our second month of living in the house, we are slowly but surely getting accustomed to maintaining a space this large. We’re looking forward to making many memories in the house with our brothers! yf Michael Kennedy (Closet '28) - Recruitment Chair Pedro Davila (BBL '28) - Communications Chair First Saturday Dinner of 2026!! On Saturday January 17th, after spending the first half of the day sprucing up the house, the actives started prepping and cooking food for dinner.  This was their first Saturday dinner since moving into the house, and also the kickoff to spring rush. It was obvious that the actives were well on the way to learning the ins and outs of the kitchen. There was plenty of food for all those in attendance, with collared shirts all around. After dinner (pasta with salmon, feta, and cherry tomato sauce; brownies and cake for dessert), upcoming rush events were announced by Brother Closet, and then Brother Squeeze regaled everyone with a key story, complete with a door getting kicked in. Overall, the actives and alumni were super psyched of this achievement, and proud to see a quintessential Upsilon tradition be resurrected!! yf Louis Vinke (Splinther ’06) UAA VP of Communications UAA Giving Hub is LIVE The UAA is proud to announce that we've rolled out our new UAA Giving Hub! The giving hub is the place to donate and keep up to date on the status of all fundraising drives the UAA is running. The UAA is in constant communication with the Actives Executive Board and the House Corporation to ensure our efforts are always aligned with the needs of the chapter. As a result of this collaboration we were able to identify two pressing needs: The House Jumpstart Fund to help the new actives with critical operational items to run the house, and the Shelter Renovation Fund. The Shelter Renovation fund first focus was to fund renovation of the MR Weight Room. We're happy to report that both fundraising goals were achieved!  Navigate to the UAA Giving Hub for more details. Please help these young men defray housing costs so they can focus on their education and maintaining the Upsilon tradition with successful recruitment.
